I have heard that here are some insurance companies that have good coverage for infertility treatments. Anyone know which ones those are? Where can I get this information?

Usually the only time it is covered is if you are covered under a group plan, that has lots of employees and is self-funded. I suggest you contact an independent agent and ask them to do the leg work for you. The answer to your question may vary from one state to another according to the insurance laws of your state of residence.

I am not sure which companies or about the group thing as the previous poster mentioned, but it may also just depend upon the policy that you choose or is offered to you through your employer.

All 4 plans that we could choose from through my husband’s employer didn’t offer that coverage AT ALL. It really just depends on the plan.

I’ve never heard of any INDIVIDUAL plans that cover infertility treatments, only group plans, that you get through your employer.

    Check with your employer!
