I asked a similar ? a while ago but didnt really get the answers I was looking for so I thought Id rephrase the quest – I know of PCOS and Endometriosis but what other conditions could be the reasoning of infertility?

On the female side, PCOS, Endometreosis, Effects of STD’s. Drug use, Misformed Ovarian Organs.. Stress.. Its basically.. Anything…

For men, being sterile, pretty much falls under the same ground. A docotr can better explain what all the causes are, and help you eliminate those that don’t apply to you.

There are at least a hundred conditions that can affect infertility, but they can all be classified as follows.

Either it’s a problem with the sperm, a problem with the eggs or a problem with the anatomical environment.

PCOS falls under the egg problem category.
Endometriosis falls under the anatomical problem category.

The most important thing is to have a good gameplan so that you don’t waste the most fertile years.

This article should help. Good luck =)

There are countless reasons for being infertile (don’t play the blame game… 40% it is his fault 40% is because of her and 20% is unexplained!)

But deffenatly check out a different gyno! Tell him/her it is time to get the ball rolling.

Sometimes it can be pricey (curing the infertitly bug) FYI…

Check out some good books about the issue my favorite is “A Few Good Eggs” by Julie Vargo… and do a web search for a ovulation calender, that might explain a few things too!

It could be as simple as your lifestyle.

Stress, alchohol, smoking, high fat diets, being overweight can all affect both you and hubby in the ability to fall pregnant.

Dr’s also sometimes dont know why people cant fall pregnant, so many people are normal yet is doesnt happen naturally.

I would definately recommend a naturopath for both of you to get your bodies into shape to try to fall pregnant.

Zinc does help men with their ***** count.

    Good luck
