insurance may not cover this, but you can always get a flex plan where you put money away (pretax) to use on non-covered medical expenses

Probably not. Because it’s what insurance companies can get away with calling “experimental” or something like that, most insurance companies get away with not covering it. Health insurers tend to look out for their bottom line, and they honestly don’t CARE about YOUR ailments and issues because it costs them money. They want to hold on to their money any way they can for as long as they can. (Weasely bastids.)

Flex plans or HSA (Health Savings Accounts) are pre-tax income, which is YOUR money, and they might be able to be used for things like this. They’re for non-covered medical expenses. It’s worth looking into.
    Good luck!

Not unless you are really lucky. Even with coverage, you will spend a fortune in monthly or weekly coverage payments, deductables, as well as dr visit co pays, lab co pays and pharmacy costs. Most companies don’t cover fertility treatments, and if they do, the coverage isn’t all that great. It would be even harder to find an insurance company that would take on a client with an existing condition. I had this problem before I finally got pregnant with my son, and I couldn’t find any coverage anywhere. Ironically enough, once I got pregnant, my insurance company, Mutual of Omaha, suddenly decided that they would cover fertilty treatments. Lol!!!! I sure wish you alot of luck!!!!

You just have to shop around for the right insurance company and coverage. There are insurance companies that will cover fertility treatments for people who are trying to conceive. The insurance coverage I currently have, does cover up to a certain dollar amount.

Its not likely, since insurance companies see pregnancy as “unnecessary” and “optional”. INCIID keeps a couple of good lists, which may help.

    Insurance Carriers That May Offer
Infertility Treatment Coverage to Employers in the U.S.

    Companies with Infertility Benefits

There are also a couple of grants that cover IVF

    Good luck!

Get your IVF-invitro fertilisation treatment in India .IVF treatment ,IUI,ICSI,artificial insemination and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges all types of medical treatment andsurgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as some of the surgery including ivf treatment is not covered by insurance.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your IVF treatment can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The doctors are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.I recently also read about a chinese couple facilitated by forerunners healthcare were able to get their baby by IVF and a surrogate mother.

my cousin and her husband got their IVF treatment in India through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is also a known case of stage 3 endometriosis and blocked tubes. She is a very happy mother of a baby boy now. She just paid 2500 pounds for the full treatment for which she was quoted 7500 pounds in private setup in UK.I strongly recommend this company to you as they can be of great help to you.hope this helps
