infertility
laitoste asked:

A good friend of mine had poison ivy on his inner thighs and *********. He unfortunately treated the open sores and the entire area with straight bleach not diluted with water. He left the bleach on for about 15 minutes before washing it off. (as you can imagine it was very painful) The poison ivy did clear up, but is there a chance he might suffer from infertility?

    yes there is a chance
because if any of the bleach entered the actual testacle
    it can do severe damage

Yes there is a chance – hopefully for all of us – that he will suffer from infertility. However, it may not be because of the bleach.

I think that that is not very likely. The ********* are on the inside, and so they are protected from such. I don’t think either of you have to worry about it at all, but I do recommend seeing a doctor about it, just in case. There have been far too many cases were even though the chances are tiny, The result came out bad. I say just a check up with a local doctor, and maybe talking to the doctor about possible effects of the bleaching. Good luck!

There shouldn’t be much internal damage although he may get some scarring.
The ***** are quite well protected though and should be fine.
Your friend should seek medical attention if there’s alot of pain or burning sensations.
