We are planning on trying to start a family this year, but I feel like the cards are stacked against me. I have hypothyroidism, a cyst on my ovary and precancerous cells on my cervix. All of these issues “may cause infertility”, so I have a meeting with my OB/GYN to talk through it. I’m just trying to gauge how serious these things may be to mentally prepare myseld ahead of time. Mystyk asked: I have been told that there are a few certain tests that your doc will do first to test for infertility like blocked ovaries and others. I am wondering exactly what they are and the procedure of them? Also, can a man “do his thing” at home and take the ***** into the docs to be tested? I think doing that at home would be better as it would be a more relaxed and familiar atmosphere. I have heard that it is possible-but has anyone actually done this?? Thanks!
